It has been a little longer than expected since my last update, but so many things have been happening around our home and with our music ministry that it's been hard to find time to sit down at the computer. Here is some of the most recent news...
SHARING MUSIC... Here are a few quick highlights from our most recent concerts:
November also brought opportunities to share at Sierra Oaks Senior Living, and with our wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ at the Jesus Cornerstone Christian Fellowship CMA church in Hayward, CA, taking part in their Thanksgiving Celebration. Spending a Sunday morning worshipping then fellowshipping over delicious food with this loving group of believers was a pleasure we hope to repeat in the future. I didn't have the opportunity to take any shots of the concert as our little girl wasn't handling it very well, but I'd be happy to have any of you who were in attendance e-mail digital pics you took to me at thewintons@juno.com.

We also have many upcoming concerts and would love to see some of you in the audience! Be sure to check the schedule on our blog regularly as I'm adding new dates all the time.
IN THE STUDIO... In mid-October, we began our first CD project. Little did we know what an amazingly intricate and long process recording a CD can be! Bruce Turgon, long-time bass player for the group 'Foreigner' and now Redding resident and owner of After Hours Recording Studio, has been a delight to work with on the production of this project. He has been patient and professional and helped us through every step of the process, paying close attention to detail and encouraging us along the way. The guys spent many long evenings, working well into the wee hours of the night, recording each track individually, doing re-takes and working out each song until we got it the way we wanted it to sound. We finally received the final mixed and mastered copy YESTERDAY, and will be sending it off shortly to the production company to have it produced as soon as a few other details are finished up. We hope to have the finished CD in our hands sometime in February!
