Jesse took first! His category is called the 'Junior' picking category for 12-18 year olds. Cody, being the only banjo, ended up taking sixth place overall. In the fiddle contest on Saturday, we're not sure where the boys placed, but they didn't make it into the top ten. The fiddle competition is very, very stiff, but congratulations to two of the boys' friends who DID make it in. Dusty Williams took fourth place, and Kate Busey took FIRST!
Now back to our regularly scheduled monthly updates, next one coming mid-November. :o)
